My name is Jonathan Kennedy, and I am the Principal Broker of LandReady Real Estate based in Leesburg, Virginia.

I began buying and selling land in 2013 as a way to escape the daily grind of a traditional 9:00 to 5:00. By 2016, I was sufficiently confident that the world would not end if I gave up my W2 job, so I jumped into real estate full time and haven’t looked back.

Today, I am an Accredited Land Consultant, two-time recipient of the Realtors Land Institute Apex Producers Award, and an NVAR Platinum Top Producer.

My typical clients include individuals and families searching for land to build custom homes; home builders; land conservationists; and owners/sellers of raw land, farms, and estates. In addition to representing buyers and sellers, I continue to invest in land, rental properties, and new construction opportunities.

My wife and I live in Leesburg with our two dogs, Gunnar and Lennox. We love living in western Loudoun County, mainly for the beautiful countryside, ease of access to outdoor adventures, and the slower pace of life compared to Fairfax County, where we lived previously.

On the weekends we enjoy hiking, visiting local breweries and wineries, checking out live music, and exploring local restaurants. Some of our favorite local spots are Dirt Farm Brewing, Bleu Frog Vineyards, Tally Ho Theater, Shoe’s Cup & Cork, The Wine Kitchen, and The Conche.
